Over the previous ten years, the IAS earned 10.5%, handily outperforming both the 6.3% return of the DJ Wilshire 5000 Index and the 5.9% return of the S&P 500.
Since December 31, 1995, the IAS has earned a 12.7% total return, compared to 9.4% for the DJ Wilshire 5000 Index (comparable figures for the S&P 500 Index are not provided for this period).
